Three years before the State Theatre for the Arts (333 Oak St., Red Bluff, CA) tapped Merry Standish to raise $10,000 for initial restoration efforts, the comedians were cleaning toilets, removing dead pigeons and staging their own shows in the historic downtown theatre.
